ANHYDROUS BORAX
Data sheetEtibor-68 or anhydrous borax is a white, odorless product available in a granular crystalline form. Etibor-68 is a hard-vitreous material that is produced directly when the borax is dehydrated. By nature, Etibor-68 is much less hygroscopic than borax and does not absorb moisture under normal storage conditions. It is an excellent melting and glass forming agent. The use of Etibor-68 improves yields and provides processes that require less energy for the glass and ceramic industries. It is slightly soluble in water and is a very good candidate for the application of slow-release fertilizers in agriculture. Applications:
- Melting agent
- Glasses
- Frits, glazes and enamels
- Metallurgy
- Cleaning formulas
- Agriculture
- Refractories
- Improved oil recovery
- Fire Retardant
